   Posted by: BobMcNeil   in IRS

Mary Hannah, IRS Operations Manager, Automated Collection System, Bensalem, Pennsylvania, responded to my letter of February 7, 2009.  This letter references calendar year 2002.

Here’s what she said:

“Dear Taxpayer:

Thank you for your correspondence received Mar. 03, 2009.

We have not resolved this matter because we haven’t completed all the processing necessary for a complete response.  However, we will contact you again within 45 days with our reply.  You don’t need to do anything further now on this matter.”

Have you heard from the IRS since you received the letter from Mary Hannah in March?

Todd,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Yes, I received a second reply from Mary Hannah on June 12, 2009. See document #106 on the “Documentation” page.

I expect another response from her sometime in September. I’m curious to see what she has to say.
